A two-part vinylester injected into a drilled hole, into which you set a threaded stud. It works where an expanding anchor cannot: close to an edge, in aerated or hollow block with a sleeve, and in old brick that would split under expansion force.
The working time is the thing to plan around, and it is short and temperature-dependent. Six minutes at 68°F, under three minutes at 95°F, and much longer than the cure figure suggests when it is near freezing. Drill and clean every hole first, then mix, then work — mixing before the holes are ready is how a cartridge gets wasted.

How these were arrived at
Pull-tested at 68°F on cured substrate samples after a full 24-hour cure, ten per material. Every figure assumes the hole was brushed and blown clean twice. Dust in a resin hole is worse than in a mechanical one — it can cost two-thirds of the load, because the resin bonds to dust rather than to the substrate.

- Finish & variation
- Not applicable — the cured resin is a grey-green solid. Studs are supplied separately; use zinc-plated indoors and A4 anywhere damp.
- Made
- Formulated and filled in Ohio. Every cartridge is date-stamped on the crimp with the batch and the month of manufacture.
Care
- Discard the first 4 inches of every bead — it is unmixed and it will not cure.
- Fit a fresh nozzle for each session; a used one is a cured plug within minutes of stopping.
- Store upright between 40 and 80°F. Shelf life is 18 months from the date on the crimp.
Cautions
- Not fast. Full cure is 24 hours at 68°F and considerably longer below 50°F — do not load a fixing overnight because it feels hard.
- Not for a wet or a frozen hole. Standing water in the hole prevents the bond forming and the anchor will pull straight out.
- Not for overhead work without an overhead-grade resin and a designed connection. Anything suspended above people needs engineering, not a general-purpose cartridge.
- Not reusable once mixed. What is in the nozzle when you stop is gone.
