A moisture-cured polyurethane for exterior joinery, oily hardwoods and any joint that will get wet. It cures by reacting with moisture in the timber and in the air, which is why it works on woods that starve a PVA glue of water and refuse to bond.
It foams as it cures. That expansion is not gap-filling strength — the foam is weak, and a joint relying on it is a bad joint. Clamp properly, accept the squeeze-out, and pare it off with a chisel once it is hard rather than trying to wipe it wet.

How these were arrived at
Block-shear tested to a standard joint geometry after seven days at 68°F and 50% relative humidity, ten samples per substrate. Clamped joints only: the figures assume a closed glue line under pressure, and an unclamped joint filled with cure foam will not approach them.

- One-component moisture-curing polyurethane prepolymer. Amber, medium viscosity.

- Finish & variation
- Cures to a rigid amber solid that darkens with light exposure. Sandable and stainable, though it takes stain differently from the surrounding timber and a visible glue line will stay visible.
- Made
- Formulated and filled in Ohio. Every cartridge is date-stamped on the crimp with the batch and the month of manufacture.
Care
- Close the cap immediately and press the sealing pin home. Air in the bottle cures the contents.
- Wear gloves. Cured polyurethane does not come off skin — it wears off.
- Damp one face lightly on dry timber; the cure needs moisture to work with.
Cautions
- Not gap-filling. The foam that fills a gap has almost no strength — a joint that fits is the requirement, not an option.
- Not removable while wet. Wiping wet squeeze-out smears it into the grain where it will show through any finish. Let it harden and pare it.
- Not for food surfaces, and not for anything that needs to be reversible. Cured polyurethane cannot be steamed or dissolved apart.
- Not stable once opened. Expect three to four months from first opening, however carefully it is capped.
